Covid-19 has slowed down the work output of many organizations and forced a few to shut down, while many others have redefined their work process. This has made most businesses re-think and reconfigure their businesses for a chance to stabilize in the new environment and situation. Hence businesses have re-strategize to explore new possibilities.

However, there are habits we learned after the outbreak of covid-19. These habits are not only limited to individuals, but also to corporate organisations. Developing these habits is a good long-term strategy for keeping our community healthy.

Check On Your Loved Ones Frequently

Show emotional support for your loved ones by offering genuine encouragement, reassurance, and compassion. You never can tell what they might be going through at a time like this. You may decide to use verbal expressions of empathy or physical gestures of affection. A line of text might mean the world to some others. Let us spread the love!

Personal Hygiene

Practicing hygiene is not a thing of old. We need to put proper hygienic measures in place now than ever. People came up with a fun fact that says avoid MEN and embrace WOMEN. Each letter of the two words has its distinct meanings.
Reduce the frequent touch of MEN to reduce the spread of the virus
• M- MOUTH
• E- EYES
• N- NOSE

Embrace WOMEN to keep the virus at bay
• W- Wash your hands with soap and apply sanitizer frequently
• O- Obey directives
• M- Move away from crowded places
• E- Exercise regularly
• N- Never ignore warning signals (no shaking, no hugging)

As funny as it seems, it is the reality that can help us put an end to the deadly virus. In addition to these precautions under personal hygiene are:
• Cover coughs and sneezes with the inside of your elbow or upper arm.
• Stay home if you are feeling sick and seek appropriate medical guidance.

Physical Distance Does Not Mean Social Distance

Restrictions have been placed on large gatherings, and if you must be with anyone, you must stay, at least, six feet away. This is called physical distancing.
Although many people call this social distancing. Research by CNN says, “it is important for us all to realize that when they recommend “social distancing” — a phrase that has rapidly entered the public lexicon — what health experts are promoting are practices that temporarily increase our physical distance from one another to slow the spread of the virus.”

Prevention remains the best cure. Stay positive mentally, physically, emotionally, psychologically.

Despite all this, this is the time we need to develop or improve our social intelligence skills in other to interact with one another with a genuine Human Feeling and keep each other’s hope alive.
